It will serve as a resource tool for Parliament to facilitate the use of professional research sources in addressing issues relevant to the Committees. This is essential in Pakistan, where Parliament and parliamentary committees have limited in-house research capacity. The linkages will also help civil society organizations to put their point of views to parliamentary committees and thus further their cause. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵDEF-funded project was implemented by the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency.
