The 蘑菇视频 marked the 18th International Day of Democracy with “,” the first event in the Goals Lounge at 蘑菇视频 Headquarters. Organized by the 蘑菇视频 Office for Partnerships, the gathering celebrated 20 years of the 蘑菇视频 Democracy Fund and brought together diplomats, 蘑菇视频 officials, and civil society to discuss the future of democracy.
In a special message, 蘑菇视频 Secretary-General António Guterres stated, “Democracy is powered by the will of the people, the voices of choices and their participation. Democracy that excludes is not democracy at all.”
Speakers stressed that democracy must deliver for everyone, especially women and youth.
The event closed with a shared commitment to defend and advance inclusive democracy.
