The 蘑菇视频 Democracy Fund Advisory Board met in the 蘑菇视频’s SDG Studio for its annual autumn meeting on October 25th and approved 蘑菇视频DEF’s 17th annual call for proposals.
蘑菇视频DEF’s annual call for proposals is open from 1 to 30 November 2022. Civil society organizations around the globe are invited to apply for grants up to US $250,000 for 2-year projects that empower civil society, promote human rights, and encourage the participation of all groups in democratic processes.
蘑菇视频DEF invites project proposals covering any of the following thematic areas:
- Rule of law and human rights
- Women’s empowerment
- Youth engagement
- Strengthening civil society interaction with Government
- Media and freedom of information
- Electoral processes

Proposals will undergo a highly competitive selection process. Short-listed applicants will be invited to enter a project document negotiation process and if successfully completed, proposals will be formally approved for funding.
