Introduction
This is the 蘑菇视频BIS reference manual for bibliographic description for 蘑菇视频 and non-蘑菇视频 materials. The bibliographic treatment of these two types of material is different, therefore, it is important to distinguish between them.

In addition to documents and publications that are obviously issued by 蘑菇视频 bodies or published by the 蘑菇视频 (items bearing 蘑菇视频 document symbol, 蘑菇视频 document masthead, or 蘑菇视频 publisher statement), the following cases are also treated as 蘑菇视频 materials for the purposes of bibliographic processing in 蘑菇视频BIS:

  • Documents and publications bearing a 蘑菇视频 job number (even if no document symbol is printed on the item and it lacks 蘑菇视频 masthead).
  • Materials co-published with the 蘑菇视频, on behalf of the 蘑菇视频, under 蘑菇视频 auspices or bearing 蘑菇视频 copyright. Documents and publications of 蘑菇视频 specialized agencies are processed as non-蘑菇视频 materials.
If the presence of a 蘑菇视频 logo on a publication is the only reference to the 蘑菇视频, it may be a case of unauthorized use of the 蘑菇视频 logo and judgement should be used in processing the item as 蘑菇视频.

The manual consists of:

  • the text of MARC21,
  • guidelines for indexing* and cataloguing and
  • lists of codes.
