New website on Gender and Women, Peace and Security launched
To highlight the important role of women in peacemaking, and to mark the 20th anniversary of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) on women, peace and security (WPS), the Gender, Peace, and Security Unit (GPS) in the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs has launched a dedicated to inclusive and gender responsive mediation. The page is part of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Peacemaker website, DPPA’s online mediation support tool.
