Peace operations are confronting increasingly complex environments, where formed police units (FPU) face rising threats such as improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and asymmetric attacks during routine tasks. These operational pressures are driving demand for stronger enabling capabilities and more integrated training support. In this context, the Triangular Partnership Programme (TPP) is entering a new phase of expansion that reflects broader shifts in how peace operations are supported.
Children and youth often bear the brunt of risks in today's information ecosystem and will be most directly affected by the technologies reshaping them, according to a new issue brief launched today by the United Nations Department of Global Communications.
