The Security and Safety Service of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵDSS wishes to advise Permanent Missions to the United Nations and United Nations Staff members together with other users of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵHQ Premises, that effective Monday 12 February 2024 the following modifications to current access control arrangements will be implemented until further notice.
- Vehicular entrance to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Parking Garage at 42nd St/FDR Drive
Monday through Friday operating hours of this entrance/exit will now change to 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM from that previously of 07:00 AM - 4:00 PM
After 11:00 AM vehicles may access/exit the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵHQ Premises at the main vehicular gate at 43rd St/1st Avenue.
- Delegates entrance on 45th St/1st Avenue?
Please note that both the pedestrian and vehicular gates at this entry/exit point will be closed and not operational.
Pedestrian access/egress for delegates will be available through the staff entrance at 42nd St/1st Avenue (7:00 - 6:00 PM) or the visitors¡¯ entrance at 46th St/1st Avenue. (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
Authorized vehicles from Permanent Missions may enter/exit through the 43rd St. vehicular gate. The main delegates¡¯ entrance to the GA building (drop off/pick up tent) will maintain the regular opening hours from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
- Staff entrance on 42nd St/1st Avenue?
Monday through Friday operating hours of this entry/exit will now change to 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM from that previously of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
After 6:00 PM and outside these operating hours, exit from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵHQ premises will be by means of the revolving gate located adjacent to the main staff entrance. Entrance to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵHQ premises after 6:00 PM will be via the pedestrian gate on 43rd St.
- Pass and ID Office
Monday through Friday operating hours of this facility on 45th Street will now change to 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, from that previously of 09:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
