is now offering American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for public tours, ensuring that hearing-impaired visitors can fully engage with the work of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.
For many visitors, the guided tour is their first real encounter with our Organization. It's an opportunity not just to visit the General Assembly Hall or the Security Council Chamber, but to understand how the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ works for peace, human rights, and sustainable development.
By offering ASL interpretation on all guided tours, including our popular Children's Tour and Garden Tour?in the summer, we are helping make that experience accessible to all Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ visitors.
This initiative reflects the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ¡¯s internal efforts to align public outreach with the values we promote internationally. The inclusion of ASL interpretation complements the multilingual nature of the tours, which are already available in?the six official languages, as well as German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese.
