The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dag Hammarskj?ld Library based at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Headquarters in New York is mandated to support Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ departmental research needs, primarily on thematic and subject areas that the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ addresses. One of these themes is disarmament.
On 26 September 2017, during the observance of the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly held a one-day high-level event, to address issues that pertain to disarmament and nuclear non-proliferation. To support delegates attending the event, the Library organised an outreach activity and repackaged several information products which included:
