About
2019 is momentous year for human security. It marks 25 years since the concept was introduced to the 蘑菇视频 through the 1994 蘑菇视频DP Human Development Report. It also marks the 20th anniversary of the 蘑菇视频 Trust Fund for Human Security (蘑菇视频TFHS), which has been instrumental in moving the concept to an operational framework. The High-Level Event provided an important opportunity to reflect on the contributions human security has made to the work of the Organization and to chart its future as a critical framework for strengthening the 蘑菇视频 system response to complex and interconnected challenges through a people-centered perspective.
