He stresses the responsibilities of all concerned to prevent escalation and defuse tension, especially during the period of the Jewish High Holy Days and ahead of the Muslim Eid al-Adha.\u00a0He stresses the importance of upholding unchanged the historic status quo at the Holy Sites, including the Haram Al-Sharif, in words and in practice. \u00a0<div
