President Lykketoft recognized the importance of their role in the promotion of international law and the rule of law. He also called on all delegations to renew their efforts to agree on\u00a0a comprehensive convention on international terrorism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Additionally, the President met with Judge Ronny Abraham,<b>\u00a0<\/b>President and Mr. Philippe Couvreur, Registrar of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). During the session of the General Assembly, Mr Lykketoft\u00a0highlighted the crucial role of the ICJ in advancing the rule of law at the international level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On Friday Mr. Lykketoft met with Judge Silvia Fern\u00e1ndez de Gurmendi, President of the International Criminal Court.
