On Monday, the President of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly Mr. Mogens Lykketoft met with the Special Representative on Climate Change from China, Mr. Xie Zhunhua to discuss the ongoing negotiations at COP21 in Paris.<\/p>\n

Mr. Xie Zhunhua expressed optimism that the parties will reach an agreement on Climate Change this week.<\/p>\n

Mr. Lykketoft emphasized the importance of quick action on implementation and therefore has invited Member States \u00a0to a High Level meeting on implementation and financing of the Sustainable Development Goals from\u00a011-12 April\u00a0in New York.<\/p>\n
