Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly President, Mr. Mogens Lykketoft today met with senior representatives of Brussels-based think tanks at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRIC, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Regional Information Centre.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am here to listen to your views,\u201d President Lykktetoft said at the beginning of a frank exchange of views on European policies and strategies on key global issues such as Syria, peacekeeping, the refugee crisis and the SDGs, as well as European integration.<\/p>\n
Among the think tanks represented were the European Union Institute for Security Studies, the Migration Policy Institute, Carnegie Europe, the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the World Programme, Egmont, as well as the policy departments of the European External Action Service and the European Parliament.<\/p>\n
The meeting was organized by the Policy Department for External Relations of the European Parliament.<\/p>\n
