Excellencies, ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the end of today\u2019s briefing.<\/p>\n

Let me once again thank Special Envoy de Mistura, Under-Secretary-General & emergency relief coordinator Mr O\u2019Brien and Assistant Secretary-General Mr \u0160imonovi\u0107 for joining us today.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A crisis of this magnitude, where so much harm has already been caused and where so many lives remain in jeopardy, demands that all of us do what we can to help sustain the momentum in support of a political solution to the Syria crisis.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I hope therefore that this briefing has been beneficial to the membership and I strongly encourage this Assembly to remain seized of this subject into the future for as long as is necessary.<\/p>\n
