\"Katharina<\/a>Katharina Kandt is\u00a0the adviser on communications and digital\u00a0media in the office of the President of the 71st<\/sup>\u00a0session of the United Nations General Assembly.\u00a0communications Katharina has worked on external communications in the Office of the President of the 70th<\/sup>\u00a0session.<\/p>\n

With a strong background in strategic and digital communications, she will focus on the President\u2019s web and social media presence.<\/p>\n

Katharina joined the United Nations in New York in 2015 working in the Evaluation and Communications Research Unit within the Department of Public Information. In previous positions in Europe, she gained experience in research on gender equality and diversity, website management, social media, outreach, public relations, advertising and publishing. She has worked with civil society as well as the private and public sectors.<\/p>\n

Katharina\u00a0has a Master degree\u00a0in Communications from Sciences Po Paris and a\u00a0Bachelor degree in Media Management from the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.<\/p>\n

She speaks English, French, German, Spanish and some Arabic.<\/p>\n
