Mr. Peter Thomson.<\/p>\n<p>The annual meeting aims to highlight emerging trends that impact on the realization of a culture of peace. The event will also feature a panel discussion on \u201cSowing the seeds of the Culture of Peace: Early Childhood Development is the beginning.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Nobel Prize Laureate Dr. Betty Williams and the Secretary-General\u2019s Senior Advisor on Policy Ms. Ana Maria Menendez will speak at the event amongst other high-level experts and speakers.<\/p>\n<p>President Thomson said, &#8220;It is important, now more than ever, to realize the power of Sustainable Development Goal 16 to develop peaceful and inclusive societies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The meeting\u2019s Chair and Moderator Ambassador Anwarul K. Chowdhury said, \u2018The seed of peace exists in all of us. It must be nurtured, cared for and promoted by us all to flourish.
