Mr. Peter Thomson, today met with the Foreign Minister of Turkey, H.E. Mr Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu. Foreign Minister \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu briefed on the aftermath of the failed military coup attempt on 15 July 2016 in Turkey. The \u00a0President of the General Assembly condemned the coup and expressed his solidarity with the democratically-elected government and the people of Turkey.
