Peter Thomson extends his congratulations to President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia on his being awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for Peace.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\">\u201cThe award is a recognition of President Santos\u2019 resolute efforts to bring the country&#8217;s more than 50-year-long civil war to an end.
