En su\u00a0<strong>resoluci\u00f3n\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/es\/comun\/docs\/?symbol=A\/RES\/71\/323\">71\/323<\/a>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Documento PDF\" src=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/common\/images\/icons\/ico_pdf.gif\" alt=\"Documento PDF\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" \/>, titulada \u00abRevitalizaci\u00f3n de la labor de la Asamblea General\u00bb<\/strong>, la Asamblea decidi\u00f3 mantener di\u00e1logos interactivos oficiosos con quienes se postularan a la Presidencia de la Asamblea General, lo cual contribuir\u00eda a la transparencia y la inclusividad del proceso. Adem\u00e1s, exhort\u00f3 a esas personas a que le presentaran sus declaraciones de visi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo proceso est\u00e1 en plena consonancia con el principio establecido de rotaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica y con la resoluci\u00f3n\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/\/es\/comun\/docs\/?symbol=A\/RES\/33\/138\">33\/138<\/a>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Documento PDF\" src=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/common\/images\/icons\/ico_pdf.gif\" alt=\"Documento PDF\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" \/>\u00a0de la Asamblea General, de 19 de diciembre de 1978. As\u00ed pues, quien presida el 73<sup>er<\/sup>per\u00edodo de sesiones de la Asamblea General proceder\u00e1 del Grupo de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con el nuevo proceso, el Presidente del 72<sup>o<\/sup>\u00a0per\u00edodo de sesiones de la Asamblea General celebrar\u00e1 di\u00e1logos interactivos oficiosos con quienes se postulen a la Presidencia el\u00a0<strong>viernes 4 de mayo de 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Si hay tiempo suficiente se brindar\u00e1 a cada postulante la oportunidad de responder a un m\u00e1ximo de tres preguntas de otras partes interesadas, que deber\u00e1n presentarse por escrito con antelaci\u00f3n al acto. El plazo para recibir preguntas concluye el jueves 3 de mayo a las 17.00 horas (EST).<\/p>\n<p>De conformidad con el art\u00edculo 30 del reglamento de la Asamblea General, la Asamblea elegir\u00e1 un Presidente y veinti\u00fan Vicepresidentes por lo menos tres meses antes de la apertura del per\u00edodo de sesiones que habr\u00e1n de presidir.
