Mr. Miroslav Laj\u010d\u00e1k, will arrive in Geneva on 10 October. While there, he will chair the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/pga\/72\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/10\/Migration-multistakeholder-hearings-note-for-second-meeting-11-October.pdf\">second multi-stakeholder hearing<\/a> on the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration, and address the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/pga\/72\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2017\/09\/Global-compact-for-safe-orderly-and-regular-migration.pdf\">sixth informal thematic session<\/a> on facilitating safe, orderly and regular migration.<\/p>\n<p>He is also expected to brief Geneva-based Permanent Representatives and meet with officials from the United Nations system, including: United Nations Office at Geneva (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵOG) Director-General Michael M\u00f8ller; High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra&#8217;ad Al Hussein; International Organization for Migration Director General William Lacy Swing; International Labour Organization Director-General Guy Ryder; and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Secretary-General Mukhisa Kituyi.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The President will hold a press conference at the Palais des Nations on 10 October at 12:00 p.m. CEST\/ 6:00 a.m. ET.
