He said that this shows that compromise can be achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Asked how today\u2019s resolution could be adopted without considering the\u00a0programme budget implication (PBI), the Spokesperson later added that the PBI associated with this resolution would be considered by the 73rd session as a revised estimate. All information on this was contained in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/pga\/72\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2018\/05\/Adoption-of-Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵDS-repositioning-resolution.pdf\">oral statement<\/a> by the Secretariat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>LATEST DRAFT OF MIGRATION COMPACT NOW AVAILABLE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/pga\/72\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2018\/05\/Cofax-letter-Global-compact-on-Migration-30-May-final.pdf\">latest draft<\/a> of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration has been shared with Member States.<\/li>\n<li>The fifth round of negotiations will be held next week \u2013 from 4 to 8 June.<\/li>\n<li>Today the President met with the co-facilitators of this process, who are the Permanent Representatives of Mexico and Switzerland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>YOÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵG PEOPLE TAKE THE STAGE AT PRESIDENT\u2019S YOUTH DIALOGUE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Yesterday the President hosted a <a href=\"\/pga\/72?p=137086\">Youth Dialogue<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Young people came from all parts of the globe to share their ideas about education, employment and the prevention of radicalization leading to violent extremism. They also talked about such topics as the links between entrepreneurship and development, sports and peace, and hip hop and politics.<\/li>\n<li>In his <a href=\"\/pga\/72?p=157129\">opening remarks<\/a>, the President clarified that this was not to be an event where we talked\u00a0about or to\u00a0young people \u2013 but rather where we took a step back, and listened to young people, talking to each other.<\/li>\n<li>The President\u2019s Office is now preparing a toolkit of ideas for further action \u2013 based on the ideas that were shared during the Dialogue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SECURITY COÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵCIL REFORM TALKS STILL ONGOING<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Asked whether talks on Security Council reform were at a \u201cstandstill\u201d, the Spokesperson said that this was not the case. The intergovernmental negotiations (IGN) had not stopped; they were continuing.<\/li>\n<li>The Spokesperson noted that, whenever the Co-Chairs sent letters on this topic to Member States, those were posted on the President\u2019s web site.
