Mr. Miroslav Laj\u010d\u00e1k, met today with H.E. Dr. Mohamed Shainee, Minister for Fisheries and Agriculture of Maldives. They discussed issues related to the President\u2019s priorities for the 72nd session and ensuring the fair and equitable representation of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) at the United Nations. The Minister congratulated President Laj\u010d\u00e1k on the adoption of the General Assembly resolution on the repositioning of the United Nations development system, in the context of the quadrennial comprehensive policy review of the United Nations\u2019 operational activities for development.
