Ms. Mar\u00eda Fernanda Espinosa Garc\u00e9s held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, H.E. Mr. Mohammad Javad Zarif. President Espinosa thanked the Foreign Minister of Iran for his commitment to multilateralism and his participation in the General Assembly High-level meeting to commemorate and promote the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace. They reaffirmed the important role of the General Assembly as the most democratic body of the United Nations in addressing global challenges.
