That is why we have to remember each other&#8217;s humanity and shared history \u2013 and work together to combat such threats.<\/li>\n<li>He said he stands today with Turkey and Greece.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>SPECIAL SESSION ON COVID-19 TO BE LANDMARK EVENT IN COLLECTIVE FIGHT AGAINST PANDEMIC<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>On the General Assembly special session on COVID-19, yesterday the final draft resolution on the modalities was circulated to Member States.<\/li>\n<li>The draft will now be considered for adoption by a\u00a0plenary meeting on Thursday, 5 November.<\/li>\n<li>The timeline is tight.\u00a0\u00a0And for the special session on 3-4 December to be a success,\u00a0the President\u2019s office will need to start\u00a0making arrangements\u00a0now.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The special session will be a landmark event in our collective and coordinated fight against the pandemic.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The first day will be a General Debate with statements by Heads of State and Government.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The second day will feature an interactive dialogue on coordination efforts across the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ system to address the pandemic and its impacts.<\/li>\n<li>The President considers the special session to be an opportunity for the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and General Assembly to demonstrate leadership. <b>\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>CITIES MUST BE DRIVERS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Tomorrow is World Cities Day.<\/li>\n<li>In a video message, the President says that, as we increasingly live in cities, it is critical that we plan them so they are drivers of sustainable development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PRESIDENT CONDEMNS TERROR ATTACK IN FRANCE<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>The President\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ_PGA\/status\/1321872567771320321\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">tweeted<\/a>\u00a0his strong condemnation yesterday of the recent terror attack in Nice, France. covers disarmament, would start voting on resolutions, the Spokesperson noted that it had been planning to vote on all of its resolutions this week.<\/li>\n<li>However, in light of the postponement of
