He noted that it had held 15 in-person meetings and 29 virtual meetings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>That included more than 75 hours of interactive dialogue with 64 special procedure mandate holders and 15 Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ representatives. It also considered more than 100 reports.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The President welcomed the fact that, of the 50 resolutions adopted by the Third Committee, 31 \u2013 or most of them \u2013 were adopted by consensus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>He commended delegations for the resolution on \u2018Inclusive Development for and with Persons with Disabilities,\u2019 which urges non-discrimination, accessibility and inclusion in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>He also welcomed the resolutions which place women and girls at the centre of the COVID-19 response, highlight their essential role in responding to the pandemic, and call for measures to end gender-based discrimination.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><b>MEETING TO CONSIDER 2nd\u00a0COMMITTEE REPORTS POSTPONED DUE TO SNOWSTORM WARNING\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>The plenary was supposed to meet this afternoon at 3:00 to consider the reports of the Second Committee, which handles economic and financial matters.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>However, in light of the severe snowstorm warning in New York, the President has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/pga\/75\/2020\/12\/16\/46th-plenary-meeting-reports-of-the-third-committee-opening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">rescheduled that meeting<\/a>.
