He was given the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>He applied online for his vaccine through the New York State Department of Health. He was eligible because he lives in New York State and is over the age of 65.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Following his vaccination, he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ_PGA\/status\/1365008694577086469\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">said he felt fortunate<\/a>. And he called on all Member States to mobilize the distribution of vaccines for everyone, everywhere. He added that the General Assembly will always stand united against terrorism.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" align=\"center\"><b>MYANMAR: SPECIAL ENVOY TO BRIEF GENERAL ASSEMBLY TOMORROW<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tomorrow morning at 10:00, the President will convene\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/pga\/75\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/100\/2021\/02\/PGA-letter-MS-informal-briefing-Myanmar.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">an informal meeting of the General Assembly<\/a>, to hear a briefing by the Special Envoy on Myanmar. This follows a request from a group of Member States and consultations with the Special Envoy.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>This briefing is also pursuant to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/undocs.org\/en\/A\/RES\/75\/238\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">General Assembly resolution 75\/238<\/a>\u00a0on the situation of human rights of Rohingya Muslims and other minorities in Myanmar. That resolution \u201crequests the Secretary-General \u2026 to provide all assistance necessary to enable the Special Envoy on Myanmar\u2026 to report to Member States every six months, or as warranted by the situation on the ground\u201d.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The meeting will be webcast at webtv.un.org.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Asked if the Special Envoy would be the only briefer, the Spokesperson said that the President would deliver remarks, but the idea was for the Special Envoy to indeed be the only substantive briefer.
