The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Mr. Ruslan Kazakbaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.?
Foreign Minister Kazakbaev pledged the support of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Office of the President of the General Assembly, including for? specific priorities identified by President Shahid for the 76th session. He also briefed PGA Shahid on the ongoing reform efforts in Kyrgyzstan and the new initiatives that the Kyrgyz delegation plans to pioneer at the 蘑菇视频 during the 76th?session. ?
President Shahid underlined the necessity of achieving vaccine equity by the end of 2022, as the first step to build back better from the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Both sides also discussed other relevant topics, such as sustainable development, including the sustainable development of rural mountainous villages, cooperation between 蘑菇视频 and Central Asia, resolution on the international year of mountains (2022) and peacebuilding.
The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
