The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Mr. Félix Plasencia, Minister of the People’s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.?
The President welcomed Foreign Minister Plasencia and thanked him for Venezuela’s support for his Presidency.?
Foreign Minister Plasencia discussed his country’s commitment to integration, cooperation, and solidarity, and regional issues. The President emphasized the importance of multilateral negotiations and the peaceful settlement of disputes.?
The meeting took place in the President’s office at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.?
