The President of the 76th Session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today?with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Excellency Mr.?Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Foreign Minister Qureshi pledged the continued support of Pakistan to the Presidency of Hope – including for the specific priorities identified in the Five Rays of Hope by the President of the 76th session.?He also briefed?the PGA of Pakistan’s efforts to combat climate change.
Both sides also discussed other relevant issues including the evolving situation in Afghanistan.?
The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
