The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, had a meeting today with H.E. Mr.?Csaba K?r?si, Director of Environmental Sustainability at Office of the President of Hungary, the candidate for the position of President of the 77th session of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵGA.
Ambassador?K?r?si congratulated the President for assuming the presidency of the 76th?session and expressed support for his vision. He commended the President¡¯s efforts to achieve his priorities, including the establishment of the Youth Fellowship Programme.
They exchanged views on the important work of the General Assembly and the role of the Office of the President of the General Assembly in assisting the Member States. The President also shared his experiences as President-elect and as President.
The meeting took place in the President¡¯s Office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.?
