During the meeting, President Shahid outlined his priorities for the seventy-sixth session of the General Assembly. The Secretary General briefed the President on the priorities of the Pacific Island Forum. Both discussed the ongoing issues relating to climate change, ocean conservation and sustainable development, specifically in the Pacific.?
