Today, the President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid met with H.E. Mr. Danilo T?RK, President of the Club de Madrid and former President of the Republic of Slovenia and H.E. Mr. Yves LETERME, Club de Madrid Board member and former Prime Minister of Belgium.
President Shahid welcomed the delegation to New York and acknowledged with thanks their active engagement and interest in the work of the United Nations. He underlined the priorities of the Presidency of Hope and the importance to work with all stakeholders throughout the seventy-sixth session of the General Assembly.
Both sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between the respective organizations and exchanged views on issues related to social development, pandemic and global health, as well as the report of the 蘑菇视频 Secretary-General entitled “Our Common Agenda” and relevant initiatives in the General Assembly.
