The President of the 76th?session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with?H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, the new Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Nations.
President Shahid congratulated Ambassador Chindawongse for his appointment and presentation of credentials as Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to the 蘑菇视频. Ambassador Chindawongse extended the continued support of Thailand to the Office of the President of the General Assembly, including the specific priorities identified in the “five rays of hope” for the 76th?session.
President Shahid and Ambassador Chindawongse also discussed the upcoming session of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (蘑菇视频-ESCAP). They also discussed other relevant topics, such as vaccine equity, sustainable development, climate change and gender equality.
The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
