On 1 March, the President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met ?with H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
Minister Baerbock pledged the continued support of Germany to the Office of the President of the General Assembly, including the specific priorities identified in the “five rays of hope” for the 76th?session. She thanked President Shahid for convening the Emergency Special Session in the General Assembly and allowing for an in-depth debate by 蘑菇视频 member states on Ukraine.
Both sides also discussed the humanitarian relief assistance from Germany to Ukraine, Germany’s steadfast support to multilateralism and relevant topics such as the urgent need for ?Security Council reform, and Climate Change.
The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
