The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Mr. F\u00e9lix Plasencia, Minister of the People\u2019s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The President welcomed Foreign Minister Plasencia and thanked him for Venezuela\u2019s support for his Presidency.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Foreign Minister Plasencia discussed his country\u2019s commitment to integration, cooperation, and solidarity, and regional issues. The President emphasized the importance of multilateral negotiations and the peaceful settlement of disputes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The meeting took place in the President\u2019s office at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.\u00a0<\/p>\n
