Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met with H.E. Ambassador Lachezara Stoeva, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United Nations and Chair of the Group of Eastern European States for the month of October.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Stoeva pledged the continued support of the Government of Bulgaria to the Office of the President of the General Assembly as well as to the Presidency of Hope, including priorities identified by President Shahid for the 76th session. She further highlighted the synergy between the five rays of hope and the priorities of Bulgaria and conveyed the support of the Government of Bulgaria to the PGA\u2019s youth fellowship initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Stoeva also invited the President of the General Assembly to participate in the upcoming meeting of the Group of Friends of Children and the SDGs in November.<\/p>\n<p>The President thanked the Government of Bulgaria for the support to his presidency and the engagement with the five rays of Hope. He also referred to the High-Level event on Climate Action on 26th October.
