Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met with John Denton, Secretary-of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The President welcomed the role of the private sector in the work of the General Assembly, including on climate change, vaccine equity and the recovery of tourism. He also thanked ICC for supporting the Advisory Committee on Sustainable Development, which will support the President\u2019s preparations for the High-level Meeting on the New Urban Agenda to be held in the General Assembly on 28 April 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mr Denton stressed the importance of the private sector in building a future based on dignity and hope, and offered his support to the President\u2019s priorities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The meeting took place in the President\u2019s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E.
