Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met \u00a0with H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Baerbock pledged the continued support of Germany to the Office of the President of the General Assembly, including the specific priorities identified in the \u201cfive rays of hope\u201d for the 76<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0session. She thanked President Shahid for convening the Emergency Special Session in the General Assembly and allowing for an in-depth debate by Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ member states on Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides also discussed the humanitarian relief assistance from Germany to Ukraine, Germany\u2019s steadfast support to multilateralism and relevant topics such as the urgent need for \u00a0Security Council reform, and Climate Change.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting took place in the President\u2019s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.<\/p>\n<p>1 March 2022<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 1 March, the President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E.
