The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Mr. Ambassador Jukka Salovaara, Permanent Representative of Finland.<\/i><\/p>\n

The President thanked Ambassador Salovaara for Finland\u2019s longstanding support for the Office of the President, including through the annual workshop for the incoming PGA team which helped ensure institutional memory between sessions. The President also thanked Ambassador Salovaara for his support as a Vice-President of the 76th<\/sup>\u00a0session.<\/i><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n Ambassador Salovaara welcomed the President\u2019s stewardship of the General Assembly as it returned to normalcy following the pandemic.
