Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with\u00a0H.E. Mr. Panagiotis Mitarachi, the Migration and Asylum of Greece<b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Minister congratulated the President for the successful organization of the\u00a0inaugural International Migration Review Forum and\u00a0his advocacy on issues related to migration, and human rights. He stressed the importance of international cooperation in addressing the challenges posed by migration flows and emphasized Greece\u2019s commitment to finding viable solutions.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p>The President of the General Assembly thanked the Government of Greece for his continued support to his Presidency of Hope. He commended Greece\u2019s leadership and commitment to multilateralism and contributions to addressing various challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides also discussed other relevant topics such as human rights, climate change, food security and peace and security challenges.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The meeting took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.<\/p>\n<p>18 May 2022<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President of the 76th\u00a0session of the General Assembly, H.E.
