Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met the President of the\u00a0<a>International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies<\/a>, H.E. Mr. Francesco Rocca.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p>The President of the General Assembly commanded the work of IFCR and impact of the IFRC globally. During the meeting the President of IFRC commended the PGA for his leadership in delivering the humanitarian agenda during this Presidency. He also outlined the priorities of the IFRC, including strengthening of local response and preparedness to build stronger health systems and resilience against climate-induced shocks.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p>Both sides discussed, vaccines equity, climate change and leveraging multilateralism to address the humanitarian situations around the world.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p>The meeting took place in the President\u2019s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President of the General Assembly, H.E.
