SECURITY COÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵCIL REFORM<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would like to start today with Security Council Reform.<\/p>\n

As you know, the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Negotiations on this topic recommended that portions of their discussions webcast, and that a specific website be created to act as a PKUMember States, and other documents related to the IGN process.<\/p>\n

That website is now up and running in all the official languages.<\/p>\n

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ WATER<\/strong><\/p>\n

Later today\u2026<\/p>\n

President Csaba K\u0151r\u00f6si will today meet with the co-hosts and the co-chairs of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Water Conference.<\/p>\n

The goal is to plan next steps and the way forward, particularly on the Water Action Agenda.<\/p>\n

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also today, President K\u0151r\u00f6si is meeting with the Ambassador Dennis Francis, the Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago.<\/p>\n

As you know, the President of the seventy-eighth session of the General Assembly is to be elected from the Group of Latin American and Caribbean States.<\/p>\n

That election is set for 1 June at 10AM.<\/p>\n

WEEK AHEAD<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Monday, 10 April<\/strong>, President K\u0151r\u00f6si will address the Model Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ New York Conference B.<\/p>\n

This is simulation developed with the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Institute for Training and Research (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵITAR).<\/p>\n

The President will speak at the Opening Ceremony outside of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 11 April,<\/strong> the President will meet with the Bureau of the General Assembly\u2019s Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. This will be a bilateral meeting, but I wanted to highlight it given your interest in the region.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, 12 April<\/strong>, is the Second Science Briefing. This will be an all-day event in the Trusteeship.<\/p>\n

President K\u0151r\u00f6si will give opening remarks. There will then be three panels:<\/p>\n
