The President of the General Assembly met with Ms. Amy Pope, Director General of International Organization for Migration, during her visit to New York. The meeting took place in the President¡¯s Office, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Headquarters, New York.
The President of the General Assembly and the Director General discussed the continued challenges of climate-related displacement. They also exchanged views on preparations for the Fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States and the need to advance support for SIDS. They also agreed on continued collaboration ahead of the high-level plenary meeting of the General Assembly on threats posed by sea-level rise.
