Mr. Sokniranh Phetrasy is a Fellow in the Office of the President of the General Assembly.
Sokniranh embarked on his professional journey at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR in 2020, initially as a probationary trainee and subsequently advancing to a full-time role. His keen interest in international diplomacy paved the way for his assignment to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Political and Security Division of the Department of International Organizations, focusing on analytical research on international conflicts and security. Previously, Sokniranh was involved in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Economic and Social Affairs Division. He is experienced in coordinating and overseeing Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ development projects in Lao PDR.
Sokniranh holds a bachelor¡¯s degree in international relations from the National University of Laos. Aside from his native Lao, he is fluent in English.
