The President of the General Assembly H.E. Phil¨¦mon Yang met with H.E. Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, on 27 September 2024.
The President of the General Assembly and the Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed the annually adopted General Assembly resolution entitled ¡°Status of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia, and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, Georgia¡±, including its humanitarian nature.
They further discussed the importance of peace and security in Georgia and its region, including Ukraine.
