The President of the General Assembly H.E. Phil¨¦mon Yang met with H.E. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, on 28 September 2024.

The President of the General Assembly and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad discussed Africa’s vital role at the international stage and the need for an enhanced African representation in the Security Council and international financial institutions. They also exchanged views on the evolving role of the General Assembly.
