Excellencies,
Thank you very much for giving me the floor.
I have carefully listened to your insightful remarks, and I have learned a lot.
You have shed light on the paths we must take to confront the persistent gender inequalities that is still part of our societies.
I commend your unwavering dedication to this noble cause, and I am convinced that you have been candid. It has been a stimulating engagement that we have had together.
While we have made some strides, much work still remains to be done.
Only through sustained and collective action can we truly succeed. It has to be collective success.
Our shared determination can quicken the pace of change and transform our societies – I mean all societies. Not just nationally, but regionally and globally.
Together, we can ensure that gender equality and the empowerment of women become a lived reality, not just an aspiration – not just a hope that we all have.
I look forward to our continued collaboration throughout this session as we strive to prioritize and elevate this critical agenda.
It is definitely critical because as we keep going we will discover more and more that we need to keep working together.
Your engagement will be essential in advancing our shared goals, and I count on your support to move this vital work forward.
