The President of the General Assembly H.E. Philemon Yang met with Ambassador Pascale Baeriswyl, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the United Nations,?on November 21, 2024.
The President of the General Assembly and the Ambassador discussed United States’s upcoming Presidency of the United Nations Security Council, which begins on December 01.
They also discussed?the situation in Gaza as well as in Sudan and the need to continue working on reaching a ceasefire.
