The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Philemon Yang, met H.E. Ms. Christina Markus Lassen, President of the Security Council, and H.E. Mr. Bob Rae, President of the Economic and Social Council, on 20 March 2025.?

The Presidents of the three organs met for an informal meeting, a first for the 79th session,?to discuss issues of interest across the three organs of the United Nations, including the implementation of the Pact for the Future, the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ budgetary issues, including the liquidity situation.
They further discussed possible areas of dialogue and cooperation.?
